It allows users to work offline when a connection to the Exchange Server is not possible and synchronizes with the Exchange server when a connection is established. Here is a simple guide to <strong>changing the OST file name<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>The need to rename the OST files:<\/h2>\n<p>Before proceeding with how to change the file name of the OST file, let us understand the need to <strong>change the OST file name<\/strong>. The main reason is to deal with the issues we encounter with the MS Outlook files. We can fix the issues encountered in MS Outlook by recreating and renaming the OST files. After this step, a new dialogue box will appear. You have to click &#8216;Yes&#8217; on the dialogue box.
